1. Information we collect

When you register or use CUET Ranker, we collect:

• Account details — your name, email address, and (optionally) mobile number.
• Exam details — the CUET exam type (UG/PG), test papers, scores, and reservation category you enter to compute your rank and college options.
• Payment status — whether you have purchased the DU CSAS unlock. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card, UPI, or banking details.

2. How we use it

• To compute your estimated rank among other CUET Ranker users with the same test paper.
• To show you eligible programmes, universities, and DU CSAS cutoffs and preference lists.
• To remember your account and unlock status across the website and app.
• To contact you about your account or important service updates (we do not send marketing spam).

3. What we never do

• We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
• We do not show third-party ads.
• We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or any device data beyond what is needed for the app to function.

4. Where your data lives

Your data is stored securely with Supabase (our database provider) and served through Vercel. Payments are handled by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway. Each of these providers has its own security and privacy safeguards.

5. Community rankings

Your rank is computed by comparing your score against other users' scores. Rankings shown to other users are always aggregated and anonymous — your name and email are never visible to other students.

6. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data while your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at support@myexamrank.com from your registered email and we will remove it within 7 working days.

7. Children

CUET Ranker is intended for students preparing for CUET (typically 16+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Cookies & local storage

We use browser local storage (and on-device storage in the app) only to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies.

9. Disclaimer

CUET Ranker is an independent tool and is not affiliated with the National Testing Agency (NTA), the University of Delhi, or any university. Ranks are community-based estimates; cutoffs are compiled from publicly available data. Always verify against official sources before making admission decisions.
